We are the New Zealand agents for both Kirloskar and Cummins generating sets providing machines in the region of 10 - 2,000kVA. Both of these companies are world leaders in their respective fields offering contemporary state of the art power generation technology at competitive prices.
From our extensive experience in the global power generation industry we can pool our knowledge to give advice on a power generation solution for any application from a simple mains failure system to a complex multi-machine synchronised project.
Should your project require a unique approach our design team will assess your needs and design a system to your peculiar requirements down to component level. This includes all aspects of a generator installation; civil, mechanical, electrical, control and communication.
We offer a complete electrical/mechanical installation and commissioning
- Control panels
- Purpose built generator houses, generator plinths, tank plinths etc.
- Exhaust systems
- Fuel systems
- Seismic restraints
All work is carried out by our own in house trades' persons.
To complement our core generator servicing we also offer a maintenance and refueling service. All of our service vehicles are fitted with a fuel bowser and we have our own trailer mounted tanks for larger refueling work. We also provide maintenance for other associated equipment such as UPS systems, emergency lighting, fire pumps etc.
Our extensive generator and associated equipment hire fleet is available for hire or lease throughout New Zealand. We have machines ranging in sizes from 5 to 1,000kVA for immediate hire from our four branches and can arrange larger machines if required. To complement our generator hire fleet we also hire fuel tanks and load cables, etc. We will be happy to tailor a payment package to suit your particular requirements; stand-by, prime, refueling etc.
We have our own IQP registered personnel to carry out inspections such as Building Warrants of Fitness and issue the relevant certification documentation.
In addition to our generator manufacturing facility we are equipped to carry out numerous other light engineering jobs. We are flexible and open to consider any fabrication project.
As generator controllers are supplied as discrete components by their respective manufactures we provide a design and build service to meet each customer's peculiar requirements. This allows us to mix and match various devices to create a fully functional standalone control panel or one that can be integrated with other systems no matter how simple or complex.
Fuel Tank Manufacturing
We are licensed to design and manufacture Diesel storage tanks and offer a range of our standard size own brand tanks. When installing fuel tanks we can offer a variety of installation methods to meet HSNO/ERMA requirements from standard steel and copper piping to UPP and Durp Pipe. All pipework is carried out in house by our own qualified staff and specialist equipment.
Service & Testing
We provide a full service and testing facility for any brand of machines and specialise in national one stop contracts for companies having a variety of equipment yet requiring the convenience of a one stop, one shop provider. Due to New Zealand's unique terrain all our branches are equipped with four wheel drive vehicles and our staff are experienced in accessing difficult locations.
We can carry out direct monitoring via our own systems fitted to a generating set or via a customers existing system connected to a paging device. This is in turn connected to our 24 hour monitoring service.
Just as we are willing to service any brand of machine we are also capable of carrying out major repairs, refurbishment and overhauls. All this work is carried out in our own workshops by our own trades' persons.
24 hour call out
A 24 hour call out service is available to all our customers with a current service agreement.
To provide a fully comprehensive generator manufacturing and maintenance service we employ qualified staff from all sectors of the industry including; registered electricians, 'A' grade diesel mechanics, pipe fitters, welders, fitters & turners, sheet metal workers, spray painters.
